"Clean eating"? I think YES!

So I have had an amazing friend (see her blog HERE) start the "Best Life Diet" aka "Clean Eating". She has completely changed her diet around and is now following the guidelines of this NEW way of living. She has lost 25 pounds doing this! Morale of the story is that she has inspired me to get my butt in gear. :)

3 months to go!

I'm so excited! Everything on all of the "to-do" lists that I have are coming to an end! 

Everything is planned! 

I've FINALLY found the dress (it only took 5 months to find).... :] 

I'm SOOO happy!

I can't wait to become Mrs. Nick Walters! 

It's gonna be a good day!

Here is something I have been meaning to post for a while. This absolutely drives me INSANE and someone here at my office doesn't know how to do this "correctly".

GOALS:

Better late then never, I always say... ;) Since this is a new year, I have decided that I need to get my butt in gear. Here are my goals...

• I need to lose at least 15 pounds for my wedding, and 30 by the end of the year.... :P
• Learn to enjoy cooking healthy...
• Be Financially Smart
• Save $5,000.
• Cut out SOME sugars and ALL soda. PERIOD.

The second to last one is more for piece of mind, but it is HARD to save money! Nick and I have come to the conclusion that money sucks. I hate everything accompanied with money (aka:MORE BILLS). 

Disneyland is just around the corner!! :) And so is our ENGAGEMENT PICTURES!!! :D I'm so excited!

....ANY WHO ONTO MORE FUN THINGS!!!!!!....

Here's an update on the wedding plans THUS far... :)

Work work WORK!

Work is hard... Can I just say that?! I hardly get to see N unless it's the weekend, and we live together! I thought I'd see him more often than I do... :( Bummer.. Oh well! I have some exciting news today whilst on Facebook, I became a fan of Groop Dealz and they have a contest almost daily for people to win prizes and I won these lovely earrings!!!! :) 

Lately, I felt so unlucky and normally that is not the case! This sure whipped me out of that "coma" that I have been living in... :) 

I have also found some freaking ADORABLE blogs!!!!!! This blog "The House of Smiths" is doing what I want to do with her serious organizational skills! Look at her before pantry picture...

After looking at this photo.. I can't help but think "I WANT ONE!!!!"

I am planning on updating my blog with pictures of our cute little basement apartment, and more wedding plans tomorrow... MAYBE Friday.

Wowzah! Save the date?

I haven't posted a new blog post this year. I suck! I have a lot of good and exciting news!! :) First of all.. My coworker had her baby on Jan. 18. She is ADORABLE! I love her and her mommy. Second of all... on Jan. 22 around 1:30am I got this.. :) 

Isn't it pretty?! Here's the story of how it all went down :)

So all day Saturday we had the ring inside this box, inside another box, inside this bag. I knew what it was and it was tempting me to look at it ALL day long. So finally when we got to N's house late that night I asked him if he would go put it in the safe, because I was DYING to look at it. So he grabbed the bag off the couch, and went to where the safe was. Meanwhile, I was in his room folding this big blanket, and he came walking in and I had turned around and he didn't look at me. So I just continued on with what I was doing with that blanket. And all the sudden I hear this really soft shaky voice say, "K....?" and I turn around and there is N. Down on one knee. Just looking at me with this nervous smile. 

Now before I go any further, he had been joking non-stop about how he was going to joke around with me and make me believe that he was going to propose when in fact, he was just playin' around. This time... he WASN'T kidding.

So I look at him down on one knee... and he's SOOO nervous and SOOO vulnerable at that point in time (I adore him). Then he proceeded to say, "K...?", now my mind was screaming "YES?!" but I had NO words! I couldn't even function. I was just staring at him. I was completely one-hundred percent speechless. After a long (and somewhat awkward) pause, I said... "I love you!?", and N then said the infamous words,  "I hate your stinkin guts, you make me sick." JUST KIDDING... he said what you thought he would say, "K, will you marry me?" And I just stood there dumbfounded, and his response to my blank stare was... "You think I'm totally f***ing with you, huh?" and he pulled out the box with the ring inside, opened it, and all I saw was twinkle twinkle twinkle, and I said the word "yes" probably 10 times, wrapped my arms around his neck and started kissing him, and hugging him. Then I asked if he was serious, and I said "Holy Moly" a lot... and then when he finally put the ring on my finger, and we stood up I couldn't stop hopping up and down like a little kid on Christmas eve. It was hysterical. Then when I asked if this was really happening, he reached over and pinched my arm, and I immediately started crying because I was so excited! It was awesome! I wouldn't trade it for anything in the whole wide world. 

We decided on a date for our wedding... At least I'm fairly certain that we did... And it looks like it is going to be September 12. It should be a beautiful day. Please Save the date.
