I have waaaay too much to update on. Since its been over a year! I think I'm going to change the blog address and make it private. Just because it will be like journaling my family's ups and downs. Anywho... Stay tuned my little followers. :)

Updates!

Hi, I know it's been forever.... But I have some exciting news! We are gonna have a baby!!!!!!!

We got to hear the baby's heartbeat a couple weeks ago. I am 13w4d today! It was a total accident, but Nick is so excited and will be a great Daddy.

We find out what we are having on my birthday next month, and we're due on October 24, 2012!

...long time no talk...

I have been MIA on the "blogger" scene for a while. My apologies fellow blog friends! A couple updates since my last blog post...

I was "let go" in November (the first day back from the Thanksgiving vacation) from my job as a Loan Assistant, but had to continue working until mid-December. It was the BEST thing that could have ever happened to me! I found another job as a barista at a coffee stand. I make half of what I was making at MW, but I am so much more happier! I work with great people, and my boss is amazing!

December was a good month, N and I had a great little Christmas! It was filled with going to N's Mom, N's Dad, and my parents. :) I finally was able to check off a "New Years Resolution" that I have had for a while. When I was 19 I had 5 credit cards all with limits of over $2500 (one card had $8,000). With the help of my Dad, and the support of N I was finally able to pay off the remaining credit card debt I had left. I started 2012 off on the right foot of being credit card DEBT FREE!!!!!!! Best feeling ever!

We got a puppy in December.. :) (best decision ever)

We named him Zeppelin. (Like Led Zeppelin) Here is him when we first got him.... (8 weeks old)

Here he is at almost 3 months...

Here he is at 3 1/2 months! His ears keep doing this weird thing that make them look like airplane wings (see the ear on the right?).... Also he is growing these weird tufts of hair on his neck. It's funny!

This was today, at almost 4 1/2 months old... The picture is deceiving as to how big he is... but he's super cute and quite the snuggler. He's definitely a keeper.

We got him off KSL, and he was listed as a "Dorkie" (Doxen/Yorkie Mix) but I don't think that is right... this is what a "Dorkie" is supposed to look like... and they have super short legs.. Zepp does NOT have short legs.

We're not quite sure what Zepp is but he is super cute so it doesn't matter. Zeppelin is super smart, he loves people, is potty trained and knows quite a few tricks. He's a love.

...Oven Cleaning...

So.. This house that we moved into has been so gross!

I will post pictures of the before/after in my next post so you can see for yourself.

We have moved in and have been living in our little blue house for almost a month (Oct. 29th)

& there is STILL so much work to do! But it looks sooo much better already! :)

Anyways, I decided that I was going to try and tackle the oven....

It was scary... but after searching on my beloved Pinterest I found EXACTLY what I was looking for... :)

Here's what you need to get this started...

Now this is what my oven LOOKED like:

Gross.... Right?? How do people cook in this?

Anyways, I first scraped off the big chunks with the spatula and threw them away...

Then I sprinkled the baking powder all over ~~the really nasty parts~~ the entire thing.

Then I put the vinegar in spray bottle and sprayed the baking soda.

It pops and fizzes and makes these little bubbles all over the grime!

Then after I let it sit for 20 minutes, I took some paper towels (I didn't have a sponge) and wiped everything off. It wipes off SO much easier than all the chemicals in Oven Cleaner.

Finally... My oven now looks like this:
